Hamster + Yarn =?

We had Daniel’s first grade class hamster “Muddy Puddles” at our house last weekend. I introduced her to some Patons Classic Wool but she didn’t quite know what to make of it!

All I can say is this hamster, a female, is w-a-y bigger and hairier than my almost 2-year old boy hamster, “Yogi”. Yogi is a shy little guy; he takes treats from me but immediately runs back into his bed.

  1. Hello Muddy Puddles. I love that name! I can’t stop laughing to myself over the “match trick” you told me about. I’m tempted to tell Lizzy (A Stitch in Time) since she’s training one of her dogs to show.

  2. “Matching” your dog before going into the ring may sound horrifying, but I remember a dog having an “oops” moment at Westminster a few years ago. It’s a trick of the trade, and the dogs LOVE it – NOT!

  3. Awwww! So cute!! I had a hamster in college and he sure was a great pet. (By the way, I just realized who you were! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I tried to reply to your comment but it bounced. :()

  4. That hamster is an absolute cutey.
